ScaR training

SCAR stands for Scan, communicate, act, & react. These skills are critical to performance in rugby and needs a high number of quality practice hours to master.

Believe it or not, players spend around 95% of the game WITHOUT the ball. So, in order to have the greatest impact on the game, they need to be really effective when not in possession or off the ball.

One skill, which will set you apart from the rest, is the ability to SCAR.

Scan - for information/opportunity.

Communicate - what you can see to teammates.

Act - on that information/opportunity.

React - to the opposition.

Every NLR session will afford players the opportunity to hone their SCAR skills!
