Strength & Conditioning

Our Strength & Conditioning coaches design training sessions that help players prepare for the unique physical demands of the modern game.

 

Strength & Conditioning Training is critical to performance and injury prevention, and will feature as a 20 minute section of every Academy session.

A professional Strength & Conditioning Coach will design & deliver each session to progressively challenge our players as appropriate.

Each training session will involve all or some of the following:

  • Body weight or exercise band work.

  • Acceleration, deceleration, or top speed work. 

  • Change of direction work (planned).

  • Agility work (reactive to stimulas).
